Woman Threatened With Rifle Before Standoff In Horsham: Police

The Horsham Township Police Department responded to a domestic assault at 4:45 a.m. on Tuesday morning, with the victim fleeing the home and seeking help from a neighbor. The suspect allegedly assaulted the woman with a rifle and threatened her before she fled the home. Police were unable to contact the suspect and declared the scene a barricade situation, leading to an evacuation of nearby homes and a lengthy negotiation with the Montgomery County SWAT team. Eventually, the suspect was arrested without incident.
