New brewery on tap for old bank building in Manayunk
A massive beer selection and a rooftop terrace. Source Brewing, co-owner Philip Petracca and business partner Greg Taylor, are planning to open a new brewery in Manayunk, Pennsylvania, in 2025. The $5 million project is underway at 4334 Main Street and is set to cost $5m and open in the fall of 2025. Each floor will feature different dining experiences, including a lounge area serving breakfast and coffee, an elevated-dining experience offering menu items like burgers, lamb ribs and buffalo cauliflower. The brewery will also serve as a production and manufacturing hub for the company's Pennsylvania locations. The company plans to expand to three more locations in the Keystone State. Petracca, who owns the brewery with his wife Keri and business partners Greg Taylor and founded the home beer dispensing company Fizzics, also founded the company.

State of play: Co-owner Philip Petracca tells Axios the more than $5 million project at 4334 Main Street is underway, and they plan to open in the fall of 2025.
• Petracca — who owns the brewery with his wife Keri and business partner Greg Taylor — opened their first location in Colts Neck, New Jersey, in 2019, adding a Fishtown outpost in 2021.
Inside the room: The trio signed a 10-year lease for the three-story building with an option to buy the property outright, Petracca says.
• The Manayunk brewery will serve as the production and manufacturing hub for the company's Pennsylvania locations.
• The company aims to expand to three more locations in the Keystone State.
What they're saying: Petracca says the brewery is "looking to make this our home for a very long time."
What to expect: Each floor will offer a different dining experience.
• Street level: A lounge area serving cafe-style breakfast and coffee, followed by lunch focused on small plates. The brewing operation will be here.
• Second level: An "elevated-dining experience" offering menu items like burgers, lamb ribs and buffalo cauliflower, Petracca says.
• Rooftop: A family-friendly area with games, brick-oven pizza and sliding glass windows opening toward the canal.
By the numbers: The brewery will have about 200 seats throughout the 10,000-square-foot building.
• More than 35 of Source Brewing's beers will be on tap.
Zoom out: Source will join Manayunk Brewing Co. and Fat Lady Brewing on Main Street — an area prone to flooding.
• The brewery will have flood doors on the ground floor to mitigate future high water, Petracca says.
Fun fact: Petracca also founded the home beer dispensing company Fizzics, where he scored an investment from Lori Greiner and Mark Cuban while appearing on ABC's "Shark Tank" in 2016.
• Fizzics filed for bankruptcy in 2019, two years after he left the company.
