E. COVENTRY TWP., Pa. -- Authorities confirm one person is dead after a motorcycle-involved crash in Chester County.

The Chester County Coroner’s Office says they are not releasing the name of the motorcyclist until the next of kin can be notified.

The crash happened Tuesday around 7:30 p.m. in the area of Route 724 and Peterman Road in East Coventry Twp.

Police say the crash involved a motorcycle and an SUV.

The driver of the SUV was taken to the hospital for treatment of unknown injures.

The cause of the crash is unknown at this time.
