Javonte Williams Runs Over Eagles, but Cowboys' Defense Still Lags
Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns, two to CeeDee Lamb, as Dallas won 38-21 and moved past Philadelphia in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21, largely due to Javonte Williams' performance and efficient running game. Despite this, the team's defense struggled, with Marcus Mosher and Landon McCool praising Williams' ability to create extra yards after contact and turn a 34-yard run into a game-winning play. Prescott also performed well, with receivers CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens finding the end zone. Despite the win, the defense still faces questions about whether it can handle long, steady drives when the offense is not carrying the load. The next test will be consistency, with the team needing to follow it with a cleaner defensive performance.
