Javonte Williams Runs Over Eagles, but Cowboys' Defense Still Lags
Dak Prescott threw three touchdowns, two to CeeDee Lamb, as Dallas won 38-21 and moved past Philadelphia in the NFC East. The Dallas Cowboys defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 38-21 in a thrilling game, with the running game being efficient and explosive plays through the air. Running back Javonte Williams was praised by Locked On Cowboys host Marcus Mosher and co-host Landon McCool for his ability to create extra yards after contact and handle blitz pickup in pass protection. Prescott also finished with 212 yards and three touchdowns, with receivers CeeDee Lamb (two) and George Pickens finding the end zone. Despite the win, the team's defense still lacks ability to control long-yardage situations and avoid allowing long, steady drives when the offense is not carrying the game. The next test will be consistency, with both Mosher (Mosher) and McCool (McCool) emphasizing the need for improved defensive football.
